Enhancement of Forest CoverProject Component

The Prime Objectives of the Programme Under The Forestry Component Include:

• Enhance the forest cover of the country to build sustainable landscapes
• Provide biodiversity conservation which helps in preserving already existing flora and fauna species
• Institutional strengthening of the Zoological Survey of Pakistan
• Put forward the protected parks initiative which is proven to maintain and sustain forest cover in large areas that can strengthen the resilience of the ecosystem against climate change
